          Do you know why elevators are very important these days? Do you know who invented the

elevator? The elevators is a type of vertical transport equipment that efficiently moves people or goods

between floors. It looks like a very small room or a big box which can be found in hospitals, schools,

malls, companies and other buildings. In 1852, Elisha Otis, Invented the first brake for elevators.

With time some people start to make it better. I believe that elevators are very important because it

changed many peoples' lives.

          Elevators are very important these days. Elevators changed a lot of peoples' lives, such as, people

with wheel chairs, pregnant women, elderly, passenger services and more. The elevators' industry is a

good place to invest money in; in fact, the number of people that use elevators has tripled in the past

20 years. Elevators just make life much easier.

          Opponents say that elevators are not the better choice for normal people. These people who argue

against the over use of elevators in every aspect of our lives, believe that people became less active

and thus got lazier whenever the opportunity presented itself, say for an example, the choice between

using the stairs or the elevators. A lot of people nowadays are used to the presence and use of elevators

in every place they go to, to the limit which they only think of the stairs as emergency escapes, and not

a mean of getting from one floor to the other.

            I disagree with the arguing side. It is something personal to use the elevator or not. There are a

lot of needy people who benefit very much from using the elevator. Elevators have a lot of advantages

more than people think they do. Necessity is the mother of invention, that being said, elevators were

invented in the first place to fulfill a need, rather than to be a luxurious option.

          In my opinion, elevators are one of the most important inventions, for the reasons which are

obvious and known to us and the reasons which are not. Elevators helped a lot of people to carry on a

better, healthier, prosperous and easier life. I think that in the future the use and deployment of

elevators will increase dramatically. They will be bigger, faster and safer. And I predict that elevators

are going to replace some of the traditional means of transportation in some aspects, for an example; I

read in an article that scientists and inventors are already studying the application and usability of

elevators in space, deep sea and as transcontinental means of transportation, at least for goods and

merchandise for the near future.

          LGBT adoption is the adoption of children by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons. This may be in the form of a joint adoption by a same-sex couple, adoption by one partner of a same-sex couple of the other’s 

biological child (step-parent adoption), and adoption by a single LGBT person. Many individuals argue LGBT for religious 

and traditions. When gays and lesbians adopt a child it may affect the child's emotions, it may cause more gays and 

lesbians. When gay or lesbian get married they will feel happy because they are doing what they want, but this may affect 

the child emotions in three important ways. The child may feel rejected and isolated by other children, also he/she may feel 

inferior, too. And the other children may back away from the child.

LGBT

          First, the child will feel rejected and isolated because gays are not a typical family like the ones they usual see in our daily life all around the world. In general, God created us to be a man with a woman and not a man with a man or 

woman with a woman. When the child has parents of the same sex, this will be strange for him/her when he grows and 

understands the marriage nature. Parents who adopt children do not know what this child’s reaction to this situation in 

the future. A lot of kids are grow up in LGBT families may feel inferior in the society because they do not have the normal 

parents they should have in most of the people’s eye.

Gay Adoption

          Second, the special needs that the child wants it from both mother and father. The child has his/her own needs; some of them are from the mother and some of them are from the father. The fathers of the child cannot take the mother's place, and the mothers of a child cannot take the father’s place. Mothers and fathers are both important, but they are complementary; each has a role to play. The child may need things he/she can only find it in his or her mother or father, but not in both of them. This child will feel empty inside and he/she might be raised as well as he/she could be because he/she lacks the support of a father, or the care and comfort of a mother.

Gay Adoption

          Third, Many countries around the world still reject the idea about being gay or lesbian, so the other children may back away from that child who raised by LGBT parents, thinking that he/she is gay/lesbian and this will make the child feel 

lost and abnormal, and it will destroy the child’s self-confidence. Sometimes the society's perception is unjust and 

unequal with this kind of kids, whether for personal reasons, traditions, or religious reasons. Here, the child feels that 

he/she is in the wrong place and that his/her parents are not like normal parents. What make a lot of people in the world 

against the thought of being gay or lesbian is usually religious reasons because the three major religions Islam, 

Christianity, and Judaism do not accept this. For that, many people raise their children to be away from gays or lesbians 

and even their children.

          In conclusion, children need a mother and a father in their lives to raise them and teach them the correct values, 

practical life, and even religion. The society misjudges the child in this type of adoption because people in general do not 

know the extent of the danger to his/her life or future and the negative results that would happen if the child is sensitive, 

and for that they have to aware people of being gay or lesbian.

Marrying Young and Marrying Later

Marriage is one of the most important steps that you would take in your life. It is a true and a pure relationship between a man and a woman. It is also a relation in which they promise to live together forever. People get married because they are in love, and they cannot be away from their lover, so they decide to continue their lives together, create a family, and share everything. But the marriage is a hard job, people who get married have to work very hard on themselves to keep their life beautiful and successful. A lot of people get married at a young age"for woman under 26 years old and for men under 30" years old; on the other hand, some of them like to marry later after a 27 years old for woman and 31 years old for men. These are the standard ages for a lot of countries around the world based on Wikipedia information. Both of marrying young and marrying later have their advantages and disadvantages.

Marrying young

Marrying at a young age, normally be between 18 and 26 years old for women, and between 26-30 years for men. This kind of marriage has a lot of advantages. When a couple decide to marry young, they are sure about their current love to each other, so they decide to continue and share their lives together. Usually marring at a young age is built just on emotions, for that both partners would have a great life full of love. Some things could let marriage at a young age is a good choice. They can get baby easily based on the physical health of the parties and their youth in age. Also having a baby at that time will be better for her/him to be friendly with the parents. And the couple could build their life together starting from the beginning.

Marrying later

Marrying after 27 years for women,  and 30 years for men  is also a good choice. When someone marry at later age, surely he/she has better experience than the young couples. Life between matures is built on reality life because they both have enough life experience to make the right choices for themselves. There will be a full understandable life between the man and the woman. They are simply ready for the difficulties of life and missteps that will face them with their careers and creating a family.

Divorce

All of these advantages of marrying young or later do not mean that there are no disadvantages for marriage. Studies show that people who get married at a young age more likely to divorce because they may not have enough life experience and they cannot fully understand each other compared to those who get married at a young age. And sometimes they cannot have the life they dreamed about together, whether it is about money or love. Also the couple who married later have the chance to divorce because the man has his own personality and the woman, too.  There can be a great understanding in the beginning but after marriage it is different, each of them wants to prove himself/herself in a different way from the other. Sometimes excess human experience makes a person arrogant on his or her partner and this causes big problems and divorce. And sometimes if the woman is over 30 years old, she will face physical problems in her pregnancy.

In conclusion, early marriage or late marriage have their benefits and difficulties.Marriage is a hard decision to make, also it is a permanent work.  people who get married have to work very hard to keep their marriage full with love and success.

          We all know that smoking is harmful to our health and that the smoker is exposed to many kinds of cancers and diseases more than any other person. But the problem with a lot of people is the lack of 

knowledge about the severe effects from smoking nicotine other than lung cancer, such as destroying the 

nervous system. Recently, studies have shown how deadly nicotine is for the nervous system in the human 

body and how quickly it can damage your body and brain. I will show how the nicotine goes through your 

body and how it affects your nervous system.

       “The nervous system is the network of nerve cells and fibers that transmits nerve impulses between parts of the body”. It is the main component of the body, therefore we must maintain it and stay away from anything that will harm it. 

Smoking is very profound effect on the nervous system. It affects the brain and leads the smoker to have a headache, 

dizziness, memory impairment and sometimes leads to an inability to balance, especially when someone smokes a lot of 

cigarettes. The process of taking in the nicotine in the body goes like this. When a person starts smoking a cigarette, he 

inhales the nicotine in the cigarette through the mouth and then it goes into the lungs. Once the nicotine arrived to the 

lungs, it is absorbed into the bloodstream and carried to the brain. Afterwards, the nicotine will start damaging the 

nervous system. When the nicotine enters the blood vessels that control the nervous system in the body, hat will cause a 

tightness in the vascular which make errors in the concentration of the brain to complete its mission. And some of the 

signals in the body become incomprehensible to the brain, which disturbs the work of the nervous system. Sometimes a 

tightness in the blood vessels cause for a sudden stroke and in some cases a person loses his life. Smokers should be 

really careful about what they are doing to their lives and they have to take a new step of quitting smoking to have 

healthier life.

       In conclusion, smoking is a bad habit and it should be minimized in any way and no matter what is the 
cost because many disadvantages which lead to the death and diseases. There must be greater awareness 

for people and especially teenagers about smoking and not only about lung diseases. Smoking carry a very 

serious and dangerous diseases that people should know about it.

          "The right of the unborn child to life must outweigh the desires of others to destroy it, whatever the basis of these desires" (Paul).  Paul's against the abortion 100%, but sometimes there are some cases we need to be more flexible with it. Abortion is an intentional violent act that kills an unborn baby, on the other hand abortion could save the mother's life. To have an abortion without any reason means to participate in a horrendous crime against humanity, God, and oneself. Abortion can also have deleterious effects on the mother's health and well-being. It is a hard decision for all women to make. Either religious or ethical beliefs could affect the abortion choice.

          Many women these days have an abortion due to unplanned pregnancies. First, many unmarried couples get an abortion because they cannot have a baby and take care of him/her because they are not living together. Second, a married couple may not be financially stable enough to take care of a child or they are not ready to have a baby, so they choose to rid of the baby by abortion. Third, raped women in general cannot keep the baby, and for that reason the woman choose to have an abortion. Fourth, medical problems are a reason for getting an abortion. Nowadays, doctors are able to discover disorders and malformations in embryos. Due to advancements in medicine, some pregnant women choose abortion when their doctors confirm a problem with the baby and explain all a hardships which may affect the mother’s and child’s lives. The last thing is when the pregnant woman has a health problem which could affect her if she is going to continue with her pregnancy, so she gets an abortion. All of these causes for some reason or another justify abortion.
          A woman has many decisions to make when considering abortion. If a woman is thinking about abortion, her health care provider may talk with her about a few different mental and physical abortion results. The female body does not always react well to a miscarriage in general, and abortion is, in a way, a miscarriage. Therefore, complications such as internal bleeding, future infertility and various other medical complications could happen. Abortion is fairly controversial because of the many aspects that are involved with it. One is the guilt that women feel after abortion which at times greatly hinders their lives and sends them in a serious state of depression and mental problems. Regret is the same difference compared to guilt, although we have to point out that regret reaches other emotional side effects of abortion, meaning, the feeling of regret after abortion addresses the urge to go back in time and the sincere wish to have kept the baby instead of getting rid of it. Keep in mind the side effects of abortion do not strike separately, rather most of the time they are combined all together and have tremendous impact on the life of the female and her family. Doctor cannot emphasize enough the importance of making these side effects and complications very clear to the pregnant woman in order to let her make an informed choice for the sake of making the population more aware of what abortion really is, how it is done, and the pros and cons of it.
          In conclusion, abortion is somehow an advancement of medicine. This does not mean it is the right choice, or at least always the right choice. I think the main purpose of abortion is to make things less complicated for either the pregnant woman, or her baby, or both , and of course, their family. Some justify abortion as a solution to a problem and others completely do not. In my opinion, abortion is not a black and white matter. It is more of a decision taken at the moment according to various factors. As a female myself, I cannot say that I am completely against abortion because at times it is the better choice whether women like it or not. In the end, we are all humans with same nature of not intending to harm others deliberately.
